Is there a free or cheap way to sync my Microsoft Outlook Calendar with either the Palm Desktop or directly through HotSync. The only things I've found so far cost at least $49.99. Ouch!

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

PocketMirror Standard is included on the Handspring CD and it allows you to sync your Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Notes, and To Do's with the handheld. You can't use it with the Palm Desktop, however, as it essentially replaces it with Outlook.

The latest version of PocketMirror Standard does have a n option to do a "backup to Palm Desktop". I just noticed this in my options yesterday--I've never tried it.

The key word there is "backup". It doesn't sync to the Desktop, it overwrites it with the contents of the handheld.

Pocket Mirror Pro is the best piece of software on my PC. I wish the Palm Desktop allowed category filtering. I don't think the category filtering implementation is intuitive enough on Pro but, once you figure it out, it does the job!
