    Hi,

I'm experiencing quite a few resets now. I performed a search but was not able to location the phone codes ##XXXX## that can be entered to identify different information.

Does anyone have these handy, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Rick

I wrote this down a long time ago from this forum - I never tried it though as I use SafeGuard.

So try at your own risk:
##377# suppose to give info on last program crash

These are the other codes I have:
    Dial ## Codes:
    ##33284# Signal Strength/Debug
##377# info on last program crash
    ##3282# Data Settings Reset
    ##3836# to check Forced EVDO
    ##774# Pri checksum
    ##8463# Date and time
    ##3836# Internet Settings
    ##7738# Mobile protocols
    ##49878# Hardware test
    ##758394# Factory Hard Reset
##786# info on min and data use
    ##786# Resets/Reads MSL

    Good Luck!

I too have been having a lot of resets lately. sometimes when I turn on my Treo. How does one use or find these codes?

:^/ One uses them by dialing them into the dialer interface. Normally, they are written down with letters to make them easy to remember. ##DEBUG# is for debugging things, and so on. The letters obviously correspond to the appropriate numbers on a keypad.

##786# is a dangerous one. ##RTN# stands for Return To New, and that's just what it will do, wiping out everything. So, be sure to create backups before using it.

Also to be aware of, these are for Sprint versions. Verizon and Alltel versions use #*#(code)# instead.
