I just got my Treo 755p back from Palm for warranty repair (they basically sent a refurb phone, which was theoretically nice, as the case is brand new), since it was refusing to boot, even after a hard reset.

I activate the new 755p, synch using the hotsync manager and the Palm Desktop app (all I sync is the agenda, contact & memos, no 3rd party apps) and it works fine for a day or so. Now, it suddenly is stuck on the Hotsync screen, as if I had connected the hotsync cable and pressed the button.

I've already rebooted the phone (removed the battery), but once it boots up, it goes straight into the hotsync mode.

Any ideas? I'll be trying Palm's support tomorrow, as they're closed now.
