Every time I try to lookupthe next work in NoahLite, my Prism crashes and I'm forced to do a hard reset to get out of error hell. Does anyone know of a good dictionary that can be run off of a Memplug? Thanks,

I'll pay for a dictionary, as long as it'll work on a memory card. The thing cannot find the network library after a hard reset, I have to wait until I get home and do another hard reset, then resync to get it working again - so much for the Visor modem on this trip - I'm stuck with the laptop.

You may also want to check out Mi: D...it's a neat program which allows you to look up words from within any application. You can use the Webster's dictionary from tomeraider or the wordnet dictionaries for tomeraider (but the same content as Noah).

I think this link will get you the Websters dictionary: http://www.pdathaipalm.co.th/download/websterunabr.zip

It works well and you can keep the databases in the Palm/Launcher directory!

yes, but if you have a CF card, why does memory matter unless you have a 16 MB card or something? True, if you don't have a card reader it maybe difficult to move to RAM inititally, especially if you have 2 MB left in RAM, despite the SM card (which has 100 MB of data on it).

But it is definitely worth it.

This may not solve your (and my) problem with using a memory card, but I moved Noah Lite on to a 8Mb flash card, where it sits and works contently. This requires a little swapping of springboards, but it gets the job done without the crashes.

I am using Kdic V1.3.2. It access my dictionary files off my CF without any problem. One thing I don't like Noah Pro is that it creates an index file which take too many RAM space.

Where would one find English language dictionaries or KDic? All the dictionaries that I have seen are translattion dictionaries.
