I really enjoy the sounds my VDX can generate with the TrekSounds (now TechSounds) hack; however, it interferes with just too many applications I need, and causes the VDX to freeze up. (DateBk4 among them.)

Does anyone know of an app or hack that does what TechSounds does, without the hassle? Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance...

AlarmMaster is a pretty nice program. You can edit the system sounds, make you own right on your PDA, and even have other libraries to choose from.

Have you tried Geek Sounds? It has a fairly nice collection of tunes that will certainly customize your PDA and it is free. http://www.freewarepalm.net/utilities/geeksounds.shtml

I think my ultimate solution will be to buy the Sony Clie T-6XX when it makes it to the US. Has the ability to take any .wav file and play it as an alarm. Cooooool....
