    Quick question.

    I know there are tethering softwares such as PDAnet but I was just curious and downloaded sprints phone as modem software. I do not have a PAM plan, but it connected! Now would i still be charged if i don't have a PAM plan? I do have an unlimited data plan. How much is it while connected with the sprints software. I have a 755p as well.

    My guess is that you would be charged. Best to ask Sprint, though.
    * Stuck patches? Partial erase worked for me.
    * Stuck virtual keyboard? Partial erase AND folder deletion worked for me.

    I use Sprint and have for 10 years. I have been using USBModem for at least 2 years, several times a week on my unlimited plan and have never been charged. I use a MacBook with OSX.5. Then again I don't park on the internet using my 755p as a modem either. I stay on about 15 minutes at a time, max.

    PAM = Phone as Modem

    Sprint, for instance, charges its users for the privilege of using their phone as a modem - basically what PDAnet allows, except PDAnet* is a one-time fee but a "plan" requires paying ... forever.

    * - This is not a condemnation nor endorsement of PDAnet. Any fees incurred from using software or transferring data will be solely on you. (Please don't sue me.)
