I have two new batteries for my Treo 680. One's a 1600mAh, the other's a 2400mAh. I've read that batteries reach peak efficiency after they've been discharged and recharged several times.

The question is: if I completely discharge and recharge the 1600mAh in the phone, then completely discharge and recharge the 2400mAh in the phone, then put the 1600mAh back in the phone to use as my day-to-day battery, is the meter "set" for the 2400mAh so it won't read accurately? Do I have to discharge and recharge the 1600mAh battery once again to "set" the meter for it?
