Not much action going on in the Palm Multimedia forum so I thought I'd pose the question here. What is the best player for playing back .mpg, .wmv, and .avi files on the Palm. I have several movies already converted for my iPaq PDA but would also like to have them on my 755p. Is Kimona worth getting? Any others that would do what I needed? Appreciate any help.

Kinoma does not do .avi. IMNSVHO it is their only downside. Barring that, your best bet is still the free TCPMP.

Is there anything that does .wmv on the Palm?

I use CorePlayer Mobile, however it doesn't support WMV (yet).

Tcpmp is a pretty good player, though I'm not sure about the wmv files. Everything else is covered though

You're correct, TCPMP for Palm does not play .wmv files.

Back to my question: is there any program that will play native .wmv files on the Treo 755p?

I haven't found one, that is why I always convert .wmv to either .avi or .mpeg and can play them my players.
