I have recently purchased a Freedom keychain Bluetooth GPS receiver and it works well with the freeware Navegador program. I have seen mention of people using maps with it, but there is no mention in the docs about what format the maps are or where they should be placed in the Palm device. Can anybody help please?

I don't see that it does maps from a quick look at their website.. What are you expecting it to do?

If you want maps, try Google Maps. If you want GPS Navigation, I suggest TomTom.

Thanks for the reply. The program has the facility to select a basemap, but on further research I don't think that it is implemented (yet?).

Unfortunately, I'm in Australia and data is prohibitively expensive, so Google maps is only suitable for a quick look in my case.

I need a PalmOS software & maps only solution.
