Hey everyone, I've started a site with custom icons, skins, etc for your palm centro. http://phwelo.mobi

There are replacement battery icons, alert icons, wallpapers, treolauncher icons, and phone skins.

I've updated today with several new phone skins, and tutorials

Oh, and please click some ads while you visit, my goal is to have this site at least pay for itself.

Awesome, glad to see the dialer skins, I was planning on making a request for them to be posted. Are you planning on posting here whenever you update your site?

I can confirm that the phone skins don't currently work on my Verizon Centro. Hope you get these to work soon. Thanks for the effort and the warning. I tend to be a bit bullish with trying stuff on my phone anyway.

yeah when i make any significant update i'll be posting it here

on verizon centro: thanks for trying , and what error do you get on bootup after trying the install?

    edit:

re verizon centro: i found a verizon phone.prc and found that it has no dialpad files in it, they're going to be found in a carrier-specific file in there somewhere. wish i knew someone with one of these so that i could find the right one :P it may well be called phone-vzw or phone-verizon or something.

Bummer. Its sad that they make different phone apps for each carrier. Just make one nice one and code it accordingly. Gah!

    Ill play with these tonight!

    Phwelo,
I looked at the files in my Centro's Rom and found the following:

Let me know which of these you need and how to provide them for your work.

I've updated the site again with more phone skins for Sprint, and I now have some phone skins for Verizon!

I'm also working on signal indicators and about to test the red battery that was requested by someone

Wow, those new Sprint dialers look great!

Question about the hi-res batteries, though: they have a white border around them than can be seen when the top bar is colored something other than white. Is it possible for you to remove that border, like your other ones?

    And while you're taking requests:

How about a battery icon that's black with gray 'empty' space and a white border. My title bar is black & I think that would look real sharp.

the white borders are due to antialiasing with binary transparency :P i can get rid of the border but the outside of it looks all abrupt. you can see the same thing on the bluetooth icon, just not as much. anyhow what's this tour requesting? i don't quite get it, can you draw me a little picture (it just has to get the point across) and i'll give it a go.

Same as the 'default' style ones you've already made would be fine, then. =]

    Merry Christmas!!

    phwelo
I noticed on Red Phone 2 that when I deleted the skin the "1" key remains in red. I reseted the phone many times but the red "1" remians. I did a restore back to my old gel skin so I'm good now. Just an FYI.
