    The Centro is a Treo, Palm name is Treo 690. There is no difference in this phone and other Treos other than size. Treos come in two different operating systems, Windows Mobile, and the Palm Operating system. The Centro, of course, is the POS, and possibly the last of its kind in that regard.
    Kyocera 6035 > Kyocera 7135 > Treo 600 > Treo 650. All Verizon. Sprint Treo 755p, HTC Mogul & Centro
    Unlocked Treo 680 for trips outside Sprint's areas

    Comparing a Treo 755p to a New centro with rubberized paint:

    Treo: Bigger keyboard and screen. Better battery and ability to add a same-size 2200 extended battery. LED can be seen if phone is in a vertical pouch on your belt.

    Centro: More pocketable. Some say more stable and responsive. Some updated aps. But screen and keyboard smaller and the biggest same size battery you can get is 1350. LED is a dot on the front of the unit so if sitting in a vertical belt holster you cannot see the LED by glancing down at your waist.
    3 Sharp Wizards (who can remember the model #'s anymore?) -> REX -> PalmPilot -> PalmPilot w/1 MB Upgrade -> Palm V -> Palm Vx -> Palm m505 -> Treo 90 -> Treo 600 (Sprint) -> Treo 650 (Sprint) -> Treo 700p (Sprint) -> Treo 755p (Sprint) -> Centro (KB & Batt too small) -> Treo 755p & Black Centro
