The older Desktop observed the System Locale properly. Thus if I have a Hebrew character set on the Treo 755P it would show up properly on the Windows XP Palm Desktop.

Under Vista I have set the system locale to display Hebrew on non-Unicode systems, and Vista properly does what it is supposed to do. However, Desktop 6.2.2 does not seem to display the character set and shows ???????? instead of displaying the Hebrew character sets.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same issue (hebrew appearing as question marks on computer) and solved the issue by downgrading to Palm Desktop 4.1.4e and using a blue
    tooth (vista supported) usb plug-in

    Best wishes
