I've been looking for a decent Twitter client for Centro. MoTwit just does't cut it as it does all friend status updates through Blazer. Recently I stumbled upon Tiny Twitter, which is a J2ME program with full Twitter functionality which seems to work ok, albeit with some glitches:
    * 5 way navigation does not seem (vertically, it works ok going left-right) to work when going through menus. This seems to be fixed by using TreoSkey, but still, not perfectly (instead you are using volume keys to scroll through the menu)
    * There are some screen refresh issues, when crolling through tweets, but nothing major

Is there another full featured Twitter Client, that does not have those bugs? Thanks,

I'd be interested to know this too!

ETA: I just tried MoTwitter. What GARBAGE! Everytime I tried to update or check someone I'm following it reset. Trash. I might give TinyTwitter a try.

TinyTwitter didn't work either. Oh well. I'll just keep using the mobile site and SMS to update.

You need Java Runtime to run it.

Hmm. It seems to work OK for me. I went to the web site on my Centro and downloaded the MIDP 2.0 version. I put it on the device and used the "save and open" option (something like that) to run it immediately. It did some install procedure and brought me to a screen, which turns out to be in the IBM Java VM application, where I could run it. I didn't do much with it, but it seemed to work OK. Did you download a different version of TinyTwitter? If so, you might try the MIDP 2.0 one and see if that works better.

The biggest advantage of using a standalone app is not having to launch Blazer. That's where MoTwitt failed (hopefully in new versions it will have all of the functionality).
Anyhoo, back to my question, is there another Java alternatived to Tiny Twitter that does not have the screen refresh bug? Its not a deal breaker for me but would be a nice glitched to see fixed

Woohoo! Found a full featured (albeit Java) Client For Twitter, called Twim. Looks like this one is bug free!

Found another decent Twitter client, this one is called JibJib. More plain looking than Twim but seels snappier and has more options. Also, the menu button is activated by the option key (and not by the home key like in Twim)
Here is a screenshot from WM but it looks the same in Palm
