    can anyone tell me why i need to include a subject line when sending email via exchange in chatter
    but when i use versamail i do not need a subject entered
    is there away to put in a default subject line
    T300 - T600 - T650 - T700p - T755p - T800w - Pre

    I can only assume Chatter was written so that emails using exchange require a subject and Versa was written so that it doesn't matter.
    I don't see anywhere in Chatter to specify a default subject.

    yup ive looked all over no luck maybe ill run the prc in edit see if i can stick a default subject in someplace but i will probably break the program trying . have backup will try.

    Not sure if this will help at all, but have noted an interesting "feature".
    When receiving an initial email with no subject, and replying to it from a popup window while in another application, the subject line on the receivers end with display "RE: Your email".
