My wife and I were probably two of the last users to get on the SERO plan... her a new number and I was lucky to get my old Sprint number changed... after a log of haggling. I was lucky enough to have by old corporate discount transferred to the plan...

I am running a new Centro, (with the Sprint Upgrade) + 4GB San Disk Card - with following added software:

AttnGrab (so I can set more notifications)
AW Solitaire (just for the heck of it)
    FastLaunch (for some easy shortcuts)
    FileZ (because you need it)
    CG's Blocks (to waste time)
Google Maps (2.0.2 which I promise I will not operate while driving)
GooSync (because I needed our 5 calenders linked and the contacts, and tasks)
Hardball (because softball is for girls)
MetrO (because I travel a lot)
Music Tones (to import and create my own ringtones)
    NVBackup (because you need it)
Phone Switch (because I hate the "call ended" screen)
    PlumPete (to waste more time)
Q-Reset (because it easier than taking out the battery)
QuikLite (because ya never know when you'll need a flashlight)
T-Crisis (because I used to like Tetris)
Taxi!! Taxi!! (sorta dumb, and will probably remove very soon)
    TCPMP (a better movie viewer)
Tracker (because I live in Florida, the hurricane capitol)
TreoHelper (so I can lock my phone remotely)

I have Sprint Mobile Mail set to IMAP with my google account (works great)
I have my Jawbone bluetooth paired (sounds great)
I bought the nice leather case from Case-Mate

All syncs are running smoothly, no errors, all backups are automatic, battery usage is fine...

    So... here's my question...

What am I missing? What other bits of software that you would deem essential? So far the only non free-ware I coughed-up for was a GooSync lifetime membership (which was not cheap - thank you US economy).

Are there any other recommendations for software that you could not live without?

Oh an by the way... I do love the damn thing...

    Thanks very much... quick question:

The GMAIL App that you mention, is it a stand-alone application (software) or just the web address (m.google.com/mail ).

I cannot find any add-on software package that. I see that there may have been one? I see mention of one here: http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/200...plication.html and here: http://www.google.com/press/pressrel...ileclient.html

All the information links however that me to this: http://www.google.com/mobile/default/mail/ which does not have any download.

    Thanks for any info...

I did find this http://discussion.treocentral.com/at...6&d=1162666655 but I tell ya... after reading a lot of threads all over about it, I am very hesitant. Don't get me wrong, I love all things google and Gmail especially. But, and please correct me if I am wrong, I would also need Java installed, right? Which, at this time, I don't. And I believe I saw somewhere else that Palm is no longer supporting Java, so I am not even sure where I'd get this. I also thought that I saw there were some other files necessary to have it run on the Centro.

Also, I have a non Gmail IMAP email address that I also use for business, so I'd still have to use Sprint Mobile Mail for that one. It would not make sense having both email applications to do what the one can do.

So, in short... I am stymied...

For ebooks, I like both ereader and MobiPocket. Using MobiPocket you can easily download ebooks over the air. If I get stuck somewhere and need to fill some time, that's a good resource.

I also like JazzyDraw. It's fun!

Try Moose. He'll read anything you tell him to.
