I just got the Airave setup. It took about 5 minutes on the phone to get it activated. In the box there is a special number which goes directly to an Airave activation group. In those 5 minutes the Airave was activated and the Rep added 3 phone numbers which are authorized to use the box so that no one from the outside can use it.

I was told it takes about 4 hours to provision it self, but it has only been an hour and it seems to be fully up and running. I made a few phone calls and I was really pleased with the quality. However, this is just a short review of a few minutes of usage. I will post again if I run into any problems or discover any shortcomings of the unit. (Beside the lack of support for EVDO, but I knew this before purchasing the Airave)

Are you sure it was not Stary Night that did it?

I've been using the Airave for a few weeks now. Retentions will give you one if you really need it. The signal is fantastic everywhere in my home now. I asked retentions for another Airave to be sent to my brother who is also on our family plan. I highly recommend this device especially for free. Look for the Airave forum on sprintusers.

Elder, do you pay any monthly fee for the free Airave? If so how much and which plan are you on on your phone(s)?

    Many thanks.
