I posted in the 700p forum, as I think my problem is unique to 700p's (mine is Sprint). However, I thought it might be worthwhile to link it here in the app's forum: http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=167879

Your help would be most appreciated.

My On Demand on a 755p was also "upgraded" to Pocket Express, and it is working OK. I am wondering why the change and surprised I have not seen more about this.

I did the update from OnDemand to PocketExpress also on my Sprint 755p (well kind of forced to because I kept getting the update nag screen) - where is the TV listings in this new version? - and do you have to do the update? I made a backup prior to updating so I can go back - but will I get the update nag screen again?

I ignore the nag screen, for I am not sure I will continue to get all the stuff I now get for free. Maybe I will. Any experience in that regard guys??

In pocket express you can download and extra "program" under Extras, More - and TV Guide is available for free. I missed it myself until I was shown where to find it.

^what a tease! So where is TV guide?

I also backed up then did the upgrade to Express. I did get most of the subscription stuff for free - hoping this is retained in Express.

    estroh,

Thanks! It's a bummer that it is not in the same menu system like it was in OnDemand. But at least it is there!

You also get a free casino game which is great.

Sad to report that PE broke all the free subscriptions (411, dictionary, maps, etc.) that I used to get with OnDemand. The PE trial subscriptions didn't even last three weeks. Looks like I'll be restoring an old backup set with OD and just living with the PE update nag screen. Bummer.

One wonders whether/when they will take down OD.

Bunch of crap, I deleted all Express files.
If you found my post useful then please sign up for a Dropbox Account, I could use the extra 250mb of storage.

Unfortunately, I am told by PE that they will.

Yet it is marked "Optional upgrade." Oh well, no free lunch, as Uncle Milty used to say.
