Hey, I'm new to smart phones. I just purchased a Centro and it should be here sometime this week! I'm very excited, i love all the programs available to palm but i hate the interface. it is so plain and old school. I heard of a couple that have intrigued me. One being iphony, which i found a download for. the other being iphone imitation. I'm not sure if either of these are worth installing or not. Will they slow down the phone? Will they cause it to crash?

Basically what i am looking for is a program that will completely transform the look of the interface. I want a glassy fresh look like the iphone or windows mobile. However, I don't want to load anything that will hurt my phone or cause more trouble than it's worth. Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much in advance!

if you want a iphone like launcher, then TouchLauncher ( http://ahsirg.kvplab.com/dp/?q=node/2 )
    watch it:

or if you want to improve the appearence of most applications, there is SkinUi or Palm Revolt

PalmRevolt or SkinUI is and Footsmoother are also a must to enhance the Old Style looking palm os.

^ Ditto. I use TouchLauncher on a 755p with no issues, resets, crashes.

I used SkinUI on my old 650 and while it did make the UI look incredible, I did notice a performance hit (not sure if this is the same on a Centro or newer Treo tho).

    Enjoy your new Centro! L8R.
