I have a 700P and use BizCon to connect to Lotus notes email and calendar at work. Over the past week or so, I've had sporadic outages where I can't connect to my desktop. The normal error is S7121. The strange things is that every time I've checked the desktop client, it's up and running. When the phone won't connect, neither will the web interface. I have a co-worker with a simlar issue. BizCon has been rock solid for the past few years, but now I have to reregister the phone to get it working (that usually works, but not always). Anyone else having issues?

I cannot rely on this as I too have had Multiple Outages for BizCon this week.

I can only assume this is network, not software related. I've sent a note to Sprint Customer Care. I'll let you know if they admit to anything. If anyone else is having the same issue, please post it here (regardless of whether or not you've found a fix).

    Thanks,
    Todd

I've just joined the forum after searching the web on this issue. I've been losing the BizConnect PE connection intermittently for several days now.

I've reinstalled the application on the phone and on the PC, and at first I thought it had helped, but then I lost the connection again almost right away. The phone doesn't sync and the webmail server can't connect to my desktop, but the desktop app. says it's connected properly.

I haven't checked the Sprint logs on the PC yet. I'll do that now.

I don't know whether to be more relieved or worried that others are experiencing the same thing.

    Hi everyone,

You're not the only ones experiencing the issue. My fiancee has had the same problem for weeks now. After spending hours on the phone with 'senior techs' over at Sprint we were told the following:

Sprint no longer supports the Business Connection software. The support was discontinued in May.

However, just a few days before that we were told by an engineer who received a 'Business Connection' ticket from us that the problem was internal, this was following a process in which we uninstalled and reinstalled both the desktop client and the application on the 700p.

We have a call in to a supervisor who promised to look into the issue for us.. but I'm not exactly optimistic on the issue.

I also registered today just to assure you that you are not alone. I have reloaded my desktop client and my mobile client and last week a Sprint representative had me do a hard reset of my Treo 755p back to factory settings before reloading the BC software. Perhaps all of it was a waste of time, since today a Sprint representative confirmed they have an "open ticket" on a problem with the Sprint BC server. Sprint could not say when it will be resolved, but they "hoped in the next 24-48 hours" (they probably would have said the same thing last week!). Let's update this board with any new developments any of us encounters. Thanks. Steve

I spent the last 18 hours trying to get back on the bizcon server with multiple reinstalls and restores.

At 10 am, Called sprint and asked for a data specialist. Told them to fix it by noon or I was taking all 5 accounts to Alltel.

Miraculously the phone and desktop "fixed themselves"

Definitely a server problem on their end.

Has anyone gotten a credit from Sprint for this foul up?

Mine seems to have improved today. I've done the 755 BizCon hack on my 700p.

I don't think has anything to do with fixing it, I just wanted the updated Mobile Mail skin. I haven't heard back from email support, but I'll post here with updates and time passes.

    Thanks all,
    Todd

Was Called By Sprint Data Specialist Tonite. Assured that the Bizcon servers were fixed and they had tons of complaints.

    Seems stable now.

No errors for me this afternoon either. Anyone had issues this afternoon/tonight?
