I need a file shredder to completely erase files on my Visor. Something similar to CyberScrub for the PC would be nice. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure once a file is erased from flash memory it is gone forever. It doesn't leave trace remnants as a physical storage medium would.

    I could be wrong, though...

If I remember right the way flash memory usually works is to tag areas as deleted. They are then not overwritten until they're reused, which could be a while later.

So (in theory) you could see deleted data. I think the erasing is usually implemented in software but some types of flash may have on-chip support.

    Anyone out there know more?
