    Hi All,

I have just got a Treo 600 and I can't send sms. The 600 believes I have no characters remaining even at the start of the message. I did some research into this and found that my server Vodafone IRL sends it a weird 'null' signal resulting in "0 Characters". I thought i found a solution to my problem from the Palm website http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBC...,Case=Obj(8228)
but unfortunately the link pages could not be found with the software updates that I need to resolve my problem. Here are the two links

    # http://web.palmone.com/profilespecs/CarrierProfiles.pdb and http://web.palmone.com/profilespecs/NetworkProfiles.pdb

I know it's a long question but I'd really appreciate some help, or at least a hint in the right direction.

    Thanks again.
    Alan

The only thing that ever fixed this problem for me is a hard reset. - mvk

Cheers but unfortunately it's the same old answer, the pages are not there johncc. Thanks of the effort. It very frustrating as palm consider the 600 as an end of life product and the list goes on and on. thanks again all - Alan

That's odd. The page which I copied the URL from showed a full description of the problem/solution, but when I click on the link in my message I get the not found message. I will see whether I can re-locate it.
