    Hi-

I've got a Verizon 755P and a lot of Calendar, Task & Contact entries. Finally set up the Verizon email (ActiveSync I think) and it changed a setting so that it won't sync the calendar entries with my desktop. The calendar entries are on the desktop but I can't get them back over to the phone. Not sure about changes to the Contatcs and Tasks since I don't think I've added any. What setting do I need to change? Seems like this was a problem I've had before and it was a quick change. The HotSync Log says they synchronization failed for all 3.

    Thanks!

Active sync forces the syncronization of contact and calenders through active sync and disables the desktop sync. I don't think there is a way to have both desktop sync and active sync. (I don't use active sync so I'm hoping someone will correct me if I'm stating something wrong here. A search on active sync and contacts should yield some results)

Yes, the answer is correct. Cannot do both.

I think I gave the details wrong. It is the Verizon Wireless Sync that has apprarently messed everything up, not the Active Sync. Once I finally set it up to download email then it won't synchrnize the calendar, contacts & tasks. I do think I had this problem before with it and it was a simple change, but this is an updated version of it - 7.0.2.4.1. I've got to be able to see the Calendar and Contacts, so if I can't get this to work then I need info on deleting/turning off Wireless Sync since the calendar is more important than the email.
