I use GoogleMaps 1.2.0.9 without problems in both 650 and 680. This is the last version, as I understand.

    Works great on my 650.
No problem should ever be solved twice.

works really well on my 650....just download it from Googles website directly into your Treo and run it

It works great, but if you use it a lot you just might want to make sure you have unlimited internet or so.

Google Maps on Treo 650 is even better with free MyLocation by razix.com.

MyLocation gets your GPS location from your cell tower and sends it to/launches Google Maps. It does use data service but gives you the next best thing to a GPS, for free. I use it, I heard about it on thecellphonejunkie.com.

Works great for me on my Treo 650. Would be nice to have the location finder rather than having to enter it (albeit from a contact look-up in most cases).

Does it work with T-zones on the 680?

What kind of setup do you have?

No, you would need T-Mobile Total Internet for it to work.
