Ok, so I found and downloaded a ton of awesome icons but they are in png format and using treolauncher they are not recognized. I tried to change the format to GIF but when I do it really changes the look it looses some of the color and becomes kinda grainy looking. Any way around this?

I thought Treolauncher supported png files without converting them to use as icons?????

Not sure about that, someone over at shsh.com forums made them and they are awesome. They were made for ilauncher.

Well boogyman from shsh.com forums did the work. I just wanted to see about getting it converted to gif...lol

You have done so much to make my phone pretty, thought I could save you some time.

As for treolauncher supporting png files, it doesn't only bmp and gif for icons and jpeg for wallpaper. Here is a link on how to convert these from the forum but I am not tech savy so it is WAYYY above my head.

you don't really need to convert them at all - just rename it. so if the name was icon.png, go into resco explorer (or whatever program of your liking) and rename it to icon.gif. I do it all the time and it works like a champ.

btw, if you want to customize the launcher icon's and short cuts such as dial, sms, pockettunes playlist, kinoma streaming etc.. you can use our pictureLink app. PictureLink allows you to use any .jpg and .bmp image as icon and you can edit like resize. take a look on our site www.toysoft.ca/piclink.html
    Visit www.toysoft.ca for Treo software.

Too bad this program lacks what it really needs... the ability to change ALL the icons.
It doesnt allow you to change the PreInstalled Icons like Blazer, Bluetooth, CardReader, Stuff like that.
Only the 3rd party apps that you install yourself are able to be changed.
    Not very usefull imo.
