A friend of mine has a Treo 680 and we cannot get Blazer to display HTML files stored on the SD card. (He does NOT want to install aftermarket software to do this.)

We tried the following URL formats, but they did not work:

    file:///<SD-CARD-NAME>/<FOLDER-NAME>/<FILE-NAME.html>

    file://\<SD-CARD-NAME>\<FOLDER-NAME>\<FILE-NAME.html>

The second example actually works on my Treo 750, but it runs PIE in WM6.

He has successfully installed the latest ROM upgrade for AT&T (2.11?). Another forum suggested the Go menu --> Open File item, but his version of Blazer does not have this menu item.

I once owned a Palm TX and was able to view HTML files from my SD card, but I cannot remember the "secret handshake" I had to use!

    Thanks...

    Use

    file:///<folder>/<filename.html>

The SD card volume name is not used in the URL.

    That did not work either.

Has anyone who owns a Treo 680 been able to successfully point Blazer to html files located on their SD card?

Odd, this just worked for me with a 1.12ROW Treo 680.

I had a file called worldperil.html, and I was able to display it in Blazer when the file was in the root directory of the SD card with:

    file:///worldperil.html

and when I moved it to a directory one level down, I was able to view it with:

    file:///Ebooks/worldperil.html

The file I looked at is ASCII text, I don't know if you could display a Unicode (UTF-8) html file with Blazer. The file name doesn't appear to be case sensitive, either.
