    Hi
I did look for a thread in this but couldn't find anything (sorry if I missed it).

It's been a while since I upgraded my Palm, but I'm now holding a shiny Centro and am ready to upgrade. My 650 has a *ton* of third party apps, so I figure it's best to get something of a clean start, but what's the best way to do it?

    1. Do I need to run the Palm CD install disc on my desktop? And should I unistall my previous one (I itend to keep the same

    2. I've been told that I should rename the data directory on my desktop, so presumably I move the core Palm apps (address/to dos/memos etc) back in afterwards and then sync?

    3. Will I be able to sync both the Centro and Treo 650 to my desktop (both will have the same hotsync ID).

Oh, and is there anything else I should look out for.

So far I'm very impressed with the Centro. It's a terrific device!

    Go to learning.palm.com.

    Choose "Centro Sprint/CDMA"

    Choose "Setup you phone"

Choose "Migrate data from a previous Palm smartphone"

    Hope this will help.
