As a recent convert to the 755p I'm wrestling with a question I know many of you have already gone through. I've searched through the forums here for case ideas, but they are generally scattered here and there. In some other forums I've seen sticky threads where people are encouraged to post odes to their favorite cases (bonus points for links, pics and measurements). For those on a quest it could be a great "one stop shop" to see what's available.

So, if anyone would like to share their favorite (or least favorite) cases for the 755p, please post them here!

I'll kick it off by saying I'm considering the SeidioOnline Slim Hybrid with Holster or the JavoEdge Metal Alloy. I am very interested in having a belt clip option and like the fact that once the device comes off my belt with these two it's still in a protective case (versus say a leather slip case that would stay on my belt when the device comes out.

Would love any thoughts on these or ANY cases. Thanks everyone!

I just got this case a couple days ago... Frankly, it's mostly for when I'm at work, as the treo stays in my pocket otherwise. It's the leather palm sideways case, with magnetic closure. I got it new for like $16 shipped on ebay, so I couldn't go wrong.

It's decent! It fits really nicely, the magnet closure is nice. The clip is really tight, so it's kinda hard to get on your belt but you can rest assured it's not going to fall off. It's nice looking, offers good protection... Basically, I can't complain!

I have the Palm case too and it is pretty good. Got it for about $13 shipped on Amazon. The only complaint I have is it is a little loose, but I put a couple business cards in the pocket and it fits my 755p pretty well now.

I purchased the SeidioOnline Slim Hybrid and I love. The case is sturdy. It does not add bulk to the phone and I have dropped it and the case did not break. Hope it helps.

Seidio Crystal Case. Looks great and shows off the blue paint job still.

A bit annoying to learn to take off if you need to hard reset though.

For anyone using the Seidio case with the holster, can you tell me if the holster allows access to the bottom ports? I can't tell from the pictures I've seen how far the bottom piece wraps around, and therefore whether I would be able to have a headphone connected while in the holster. The website says "easy access to all ports", so I'm guessing the answer is yes, but since it's so easy to take the unit out of the holster I thought that also might be what was meant by easy access. Would love to hear directly from someone.

    Thanks for the help!

I have used the Palm horizontal belt clip case pictured above for over 2 yrs now. . . . . easy access, protects, and I like the pocket for SD card storage. . . . .

I just recently got the E&B Slipper w/o belt clip for my 700p. Its nice but is a little bulker than what I want.

The eNOVO w/removable clip would be nice, but $70 is a little much for me.

I had been searching for several weeks for the perfect case, but just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I would like to have a flip case but would fit on my belt horizontally. I thought that I found exactly what I wanted at Prima Cases. Prima offers a locking belt clip design that can be locked in horizontally, but it doesn't work worth a darn, plus the magnet that holds the cover closed is weak and didn't hold it closed very good. I returned it the very next day.

I had a E&B with my Tungsten T5, and I was very happy with it, so I finally settled for the slipper. Even though it didn't fit my needs exactly, I am happy with it, and I know from experience that it will hold up good, and protect my phone.

Oh, the reason why I got one without a belt clip was, since I can position it horizontally on my belt, I will just keep it in my pocket. The belt clip post would make it difficult to do that.

speck products.....They make a black rubberized cover with a belt clip included for $24.95....I use it now and it protects the 755p and has all the openings where you need them...The belt clip is much improved from the one i used on the treo 650...The old clip snapped off on occasion and the new one for the 755p grabs and holds the unit different so it does not break. Moreover this unit is priced right compared to the others i have seen.

I have been using the palm leather case since my treo 600, but they don't have one for the 755 (I am using my 700 leather case with the 755, but it really doesn't fit). I would love a case like this with a full plastic cover for protection. Any thoughts on this? I am afraid to have one that is open on the screen and keyboard.

Nutshell makes some great cases. Quite simple, but effective. I like the way the colapse when the phone is not in them and thus keeps the case flat. Love the protection & the belt clip is solid.

jbs-----I have been using the Seidio case + holster like you are looking only all black instead of the clear hybrid top. Bottom ports are unobstructed while in the case AND the holster. Note that you could not put it on a charging cradle with the holster in place, but Seidio makes a charging cradle that will allow docking with the case on.

With the holster in place you can attach headphones and a charging or USB cable.

I've been using a black leather pouch case from Sena Cases, and I love it. I bought it for my old 700p, and it works great with the 755p too.

I use this Palm side case as well and I'm loving it. I use it for work and am considering buying this iVolution Top Holster Vaja case. I have a Vaja case on my TX and simply love it. Delivery takes a while because they are handmade (and it clearly indicates this on the site), but for me it was worth the wait.

This is great information, thanks everyone.

I found something also on the Palm site which looks very similar to the Seidio crystal and holster combo, but appears to be Palm OEM:

Is anyone using this one? Any opinions to share?

jbs that was one of the first cases I tried. The crystal case is harder to take off imho than the Sedio crystal case, and I found it hard to get it out of the holster. It was not a bad choice, but I have since found cases I like better. YMMV.

by far, my favorite case is the Palm Flexi Case skin
    http://palm.imageg.net/graphics/prod...3304123reg.jpg
The fact that the silicone covers the keyboard gives a lot better tactile sensation IMO. I use the seido skinned holster with it.

I love the flexible silicone cases (had one on my 700wx, of course when it fell it landed on the damn antenna of all places...).

The problem is they aren't clear enough which means I end up with a colored case instead of seeing the awesome blue phone!

Wow, those look perrrrfect. Damn, I wish I had found that before buying the palm case, but I can't really justify buying another case (especially at $50+) at the moment!! Can I? Maybe I can...
