Although this shortcoming is not made apparent up front, it is mentioned in the press release (strangely dated only yesterday), at http://www.normsoft.com/press/2008-02-26.html:

Internet radio and volume boost features can be added to Pocket Tunes on the Centro from AT&T by purchasing the feature complete version from NormSoft at www.pocket-tunes.com.
That sucks. At the very least, they should make available a reduced-price upgrade to enable the crippled features.

I agree wholeheartedly. If it says "deluxe", it should mean deluxe.

Further investigation reveals that the Registration Code from the crippled version does make you eligible to purchase the full version for "merely" $29.99 instead of $37.99. A little over 20% discount, but still a rip IMHO.

This page has more details of the differences between the AT&T and uncrippled versions.
