    I just learned that on sprint ##33284# gives a bunch of info including a numerical value of signal strength
    On verizon its #*#33284#

    The top number is your signal and the closer the number is to zero the better ie 40 is better than 60.

    My number varied from negative 97 to negative 78, the latter when I had many more bars. ???

    These codes also work for Alltel 755's. Just insert a * between the first two #'s. So all codes for Alltel begin #*#
