Hi all. Had a 755p for a while now, but just got a lappy with Bluetooth built in. Seeing as how the system's Vista, I downloaded the newest version of Palm Desktop (7.0), followed Vista's steps to add in a Bluetooth COM port, and...Hotsync can't seem to ever find it while configured to the corresponding COM port.

Anyone got this thing to work yet?

I have it working, but alas, I am not on Vista, running Mac OS X here and works flawlessly. I am not a fan of BT on Windows altogether, seems quite flaky when compared to Mac (and to clarify, I am not a Windows hater, I use both and support both in an enterprise IT environment, these comments are just from experience).

Mine works flawlessly using my Treo 700p but I am using Windows XP.

Do a search because I beleive that there is at least one thread addressing Vista and BT hotsyncing.

I have it running on my Gateway running Vista Home Premium and also had it running on the previous Vista Home Premium laptop, an Acer. It takes making sure the devices are paired and the ports are matched.
