Searching seems to suggest this may be an FAQ, but as yet unanswered.

Is it possible to add an extension number to a contact and have it dial after the exchange number?

I think my 600 did it (adding a comma between exchange and extension number I think), but combinations of single and multiple commas, "p", "P" and even "#" (which is in one suggestion) don't seem to work. (I know the favourites/speed-dial screen supports it, but not contacts it appears.)

    Hi,

Afraid You'll have to use 3rd party apps for this.

On the 680 to dial extensions for contacts, you have to set up a favorite for that contact, add the commas and ext number under the "more" button and then dial that contact from the favorites tab. I have all of my co-workers set up under favorites to dial their extensions since I can never remember them.

I can do that for some, but realistically not the 30-50 I need to save due to my main client changing their switchboard next month and dropping direct dial as 4 digit extensions have proven insufficient.

Of course - I believe most of them do.

    I know mine (TAKEphONE) does.
