I just went to the skinit site and the centro is not listed under the palm devices. Did they take it off or am I missing something?

    sprint treo user,

my friend got a skinit and when she tried to put on a clear case it wouldn't fit. the skin was thick I guess. she couldn't get the two pieces to snap together because of the skin.

Ok, I had to type in centro in the search bar to get it to work.

$20.00!!! Wow, don't know if I want to spend that or not.

Mine is the OEM clear case from Palm. Fit no problem as it did for the user on this link:

just put on my new skinit stickers. i didn't like the plain black centro, but couldn't wait for red or pink to hit the uk.

Just thought I'd post a follow up.

I stopped using the Palm Air Case. The added thickness and dust drove me nuts.

Anyway, the skinit still looks perfect. Nothing peeling at all. Looks as good as the day I put it on.

    That's all...

Slightly off topic, but how did you get the Treo 650 phone application on the Centro? I hate the Centro's phone app and miss my previous Treo 650's phone app. Thanks.

The GSM- and the EV-DO Versions don't use the same phone app. I guess this is the one seen on Sprint phones (http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/1659-1.htm)

Anybody tried the skins at Decal Girl? I've been thinking about trying one of them (especially since they give a matching wallpaper download!) ever since I got my Centro. Never heard of Skin It until today.. skinit.com asks twice as much as what they charge over at decalgirl.com, but it might be worth it to get the keyboard coverage that Skin It offers.

I Styles is another skin company. I like their designs a little better, but have not bought one yet. They also come with a matching desktop screen.

    And the price is better!

I have not tried this one, yet. I just can't seem to pick one.

I was in the same boat. Skinit is pricey but I really wanted the keyboard skin. I do like some of Decal girls and Istyles skins. If anybody can find another vendor that offers the keyboard skin please post.

It look like decal girl does customizations too. I'm going to email them about the keyboard.

I got response from Decal girl

    Dear Felicia,

    Thank you for contacting us.

When our team creates the templates for new devices their goal is to get as much skin coverage as possible without any part of the skin creasing or puckering. Honestly if you were trying to skin that part 95% of people would mess that part up when appying so they decided against it.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

    Best Regards,

    Keith

Since this thread is active again...

figured I'd report that my skinit is still perfect...no signs of peeling at all yet...even around the keyboard area.

Istyles has the exact same decals as Decal Girl. Just less of them.

Wondering if anyone ordered the skins from the ebay seller (offers 3 for 7.99) ?

    Here's a link to a current auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/Skins-For-Palm-C...713.m153.l1262

If anyone has them, please provide feedback on the quality ? Heck of a deal if they are any good.

How about those that have installed the Skinit skins (around keyboard). Was it hard to install and have you had any problems in the keyboard area ?? Anybody rip their skin while installing ??
