    gmail pop or imap whats the difference also im trying to get yahoo to pop or imap but i dont have yahoo plus is there a way to get around it?

    thanks but i cant get imap to work so i guess im sticking with pop

    did you install the update for versamail? it allows to have gmail's imap work very well...

    I didn't think Yahoo Plus offered IMAP? in any event, if you are accessing e-mail from more than one device/location, IMAP is the only way to go.

    IMAP, (by itself) is GOOD.

    Google IMAP ("IMAP" prefixed with "Google") is bad.

    POP is irrelevant.

    I thought that Google IMAP would not be very good; however, for basic IMAP it does very well. I prefer ChatterEmail and Fastmail overall.
