My 680 is on T-Mobile, and never was able to remember that I had the network set to VPN. So every re-boot, the phone was set to Internet instead of VPN. Even worse, when the connection to Internet failed, the 680 wouldn't then try to connect via VPN. I always had to manually set the network to VPN before I could connect.

This is fixed in the new firmware! It remembers VPN after a reset, and if I manually set it (incorrectly) to Internet, when that connection attempt fails, it tries VPN, which then works.

    Wheeee!
