    Dont know.

Could also be an incoming call/sms.

Problem is the crash messages on the device arent all that informative.
The fact that TAKEphONE was running does not mean the crash occured within it - could be any other background stuff.

(of course - it could be TAKEphONE, but I cant tell without more info/statistics)

    Shimon, please help.

On the history tab of TP, I get

"Not enough memory to load history list"

The standard Palm Call Log, works fine.

PS. My PhoneCallDB file is ~3-4mb .... I NEED to keep these records however.

IS there anything you can do?

Wow - these are lots of calls...

TAKEphONE is indeed limited in the number of call log entries it can handle - was built that way to allow faster loading and reading of the file.

I do plan on trying to resolve this in the next gen. but for now all I can suggest is you save the file to a PC or a backup to an sd card, then purge some calls. Or - do not use TAKEphONE call log...

    Sorry...

ARGGHH I cant stand to use the standard Palm Call Log.---"next gen" will this be implemented in the next build? ..or will this be for FUTURE implementation?

Shimon, I see the choice of showing clock/date on the top bar. For the users that are using a full clock in the middle, will there be a choice of showing the date only(in future release)?

    Try TopCallLogTool.
This tool allows you to archive older records (you specify the "archive anything older than" date) to your SD card without losing them. I don't believe the archived records are searchable, but you can easily unarchive if a search is needed. Records can also be exported to a CSV formatted file.
If you found my post useful then please sign up for a Dropbox Account, I could use the extra 250mb of storage.

My Takephone app crashes on me at least once a day when I click on the phone button, is there any way to minimize this from happening. I also have the same problem with 2day.

Glad ya like it. I like the feature of updating unknown numbers in the call log.

Just remember you can always get software from Treonauts.com store (powered by Mobihand) for 20% off when you use the code "BESTSELLERS." I just checked and they have this RNS app.

    Hi,

    Strange.

Are you using any other 3rd party apps ?
Especially ones that handle key presses - like foriegn language support, launchers, hotkey managers, etc. ?

    Shimon,

Just want to let you know, TakePhone is one of the best Treo program that I have bought!! In fact, now I am trying out 2Day and 4cast and will purchase the registration code soon!!

Anyhow, is there any way you can make the "I-Bar" recognize applications on my SD card?

It already does that. Just set it up as you would a contact, but instead, choose "Applications".
Preference --> i-Bar --> Highlight 'Empty' then 'Edit' --> tap 'Applications' and look for the application that you want to use.

As for 2day and 4cast.......... you WON'T be disappointed.
    .

VERY happy user of these GREAT apps:

    TAKEphONE, 2day, 4cast, 2dial.

    Hi,

TAKEphONE does not change the sorting of the contacts database.

It DOES allow you to search using ANY field in that database.

    Hi,

If you mean having an i-Bar button launch an app from the SD card, then no - not yet.

    Hi,

I would suggest you try this - delete both TAKEphONE & 2day, and see if the device is stable.

    Hi,

What apps do you have setup at the "Default application" section of the system "Prefs" utility for email & sms ?
