Question: Is it true that TAKEphONE can be set up to block your Caller ID info, when I call out? If so how can this be done? For Sprint it would start with *67 & then the #. Thanks in advance...

    TAKEphONE (2 days only - April 24 & 25 - MOBILEHEIST - 75% off - normally $19.95, only $4.95 !) on www.MobiHand.com

There couldn't be a better deal in this universe...

    Hi,

You can define something like that using a call-card mechanism (see the manual), or maybe using the dialing prefs at the "Telephony" preferences page.

Note - this is a constant setting - for all calls.

I will be adding a better implementation on one of the future versions.

TAKEphONE is one of my favorite apps. I paid the full price and it was worth every penny.

Ok, I have searched this thread and can not seem to find the exact problem I am having so if I just overlooked it forgive me.

I just purchased and downloaded TakePhone for my Treo 755p and I have the voicemail icon alerting me. I go to check voicemail there is no voicemail there. I go in system Phone app and there is no icon. I clear the icon using takephone, no solution. I then uninstall TakePhone and reinstall (v64) and there is the beast again. I can not get rid of it no matter what I do. I have not even used this line in several months so can't really see why there is even an alert there. What could be the problem?

    Hi,

On some devices and some carriers, the voicemail notification does not work as advertised. I can only suggest you turn that option off in "Treo" preferences page.

    Sorry...

Shimon, I wanted to take advantage of your promotion to buy TP as a gift for a couple of Friends of mine but I can't get a hold of them to get their Hotsynch ID. I was wondering If I could get a coupon code that I could use on Monday or if I could buy it now and you would help later by providing me a code that will work via email once I get them.

I just wante to take advantage of this deal to share one of my favorite apps kind of a friends and family private sale.

    Hi,

Afraid there's nothing much I can do here - the sales was organized
by Mobihand, and was carried through via their channels.

We will be measuring the success of this, and maybe we'll have
more of these in the future.

    Thanks.

Ok, I recently jumped on the TAKEphONE bandwagon(What a deal! Didn't even need to try it first after reading through this entire thread), and I have my registration code via e-mail. First newb question:
How do I get up and running with the latest build(064 I think)? Do I D/L and install build 001 and then update ota? Thanks all.

I'd just install the latest beta version. It should allow you to enter your registration code, which will work from that point on. Then, if any new beta releases, just update ota.

Welcome to the club, btw! If you haven't already, check out this thread for some skins (color/design themes) for Takephone

    Shimon,

Would it be possible to adjust the D-Pad movement focus to include the MissedCalls and VoiceMail icons that blink up in the upper left corner when TP is handling VMail and Missed calls? It's sort of hard to use my fat finger to hit those little Red/Yellow blinking icons to get the drop down menu when I miss a call to either call it back or just shut it off.

Or am I just missing an option somehwhere in Prefs that allows me to do that already??

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Adding it to the 5way path is somewhat tricky.

You can use Menu+X fot missed calls, Menu+V for voicemail.

    lol
I asked that already and the answer is pretty simple..

Hit menu than X for missed calls
Hit menu than V for voicemail

It be nice if you could use the 5way to do it but Shimon explained it was difficult to accomplish.

Its ok though cause with 2 button presses youre there anyway.

Holding down the center button will take you to the alerts too.

Ah. Ok, thanks for the help. I didn't know this was asked already.

The center d-pad goes to the Treo alerts.. I don't think that TakePhone is aware of things being un-checked from this list. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I un-check something from the D-Pad-CenterButton list, the VMail and Missed call icons in TP still are blinking.
