    While I still like Google Maps and having a handheld app vs a web application I found the new Mapquest Mobile quite good. I especially like the Find Gas Prices. Pages are optimized for mobile phone and load very quickly.

    I especially like the idea of the gas prices. Have you actually checked to see if they are accurate? There is another site that is set up just for that (not mine, just an fyi). It is called mobgas: http://www.mobgas.com/mobile/

    I spot checked and they seemed accurate but it was certainly not an exhaustive check.

    I did. If memory serves me right, the only reason to register is if you would like them to hang on to several zip codes that you might check regularly. Otherwise there's no real need. Why do you ask (or is that why you asked ;-))
