    Hi folks. I have been trying to delete old email messages (eg. anything earlier than a given date) using versamail. Everytime I try, I get a message saying it is in progress, but it freezes or at least stays that way for a very long time (at least 20 minutes). I searched but couldnt find any other comments about this. Any suggestions?

    How is the Versamail account configured - Exchange Activesync, Desktop transfer for POP3 or IMAP ?

    It is configured as a POP account. Would this make a difference?

    I had this problem a few months ago, then suddenly ALL emails were lost could not get them back off the server, but luckily I had them all on my laptop. I trashed versamail and then reloaded it so far so good, it also seems to run faster.
