    John,

Thats a great site! Loads of freeware. It will come in handy now that palmgear has been swallowed up by pocket gear and no longer offers freeware!

I used to be a Mobile Clock user back when it was Bob's Clock on my Treo 600, but I found it to be less than stable on my Treo 755.

However, Stopwatch, which is also free by the way, has nicely replaced Bob's Clock for me.

Stopwatch if you want a stopwatch or simple timer. WatchMaker (http://www.steilberg.eu/page2.htm) has timers and alarms. Both are freeware.

MegaClock is not freeware but has a raft of features.

I've using the Big Clock app since before World Clock was bundled on these phones. Very versatile with a great price (FREE). Multiple times zone tracking, 2 Alarms, Timers that can count up and count down.

    What else could you need.

I use Watchmaker as my alarm, but can't figure out how to use it as a count down/up timer. Can somebody please describe the procedure?

Go to one of the alarms and select countdown.

Any of the free apps have a countdown timer BESIDES BigClock?
ONE can be spelled as NEO.

I have used Palmary Clock on both my 600 and now my 650. Can't recall what it cost, but has been stable on both devices. And, soon, I hope, to be adding it when I transfer data to a new Verizon wireless Treo 755P, when (If?) it's finally available for purchase.

Another vote for Palmary Clock. LOADED with features - clocks, stopwatches, countdown timers, alarms, world time, day/night, moon phase, etc. Supports pictures (e.g. of your kids) as wallpaper/slideshow within the program. You can even have an alarm or timer trigger an mp3 (i.e. wake up to music) or start another program (for example Blazer to check the weather when you wake up, or check traffic when it's quittin' time.) It works fine on a Sprint 755p. Cost is $15.

Thanks very much! (Doesn't seem to allow for a pause of the timer.)

I also tried BellTime, new software of the Watchmaker developer.
There is a kind of stopwatch you can pause. The alarms have MP3.

Thanks for the tip on the Stopwatch app. I have downloaded and installed.

Can you lay out how to set the countdown timer? I have set it, but cannot figure out how to make it work.

    Thank you.

Big Clock, which I used for years, causes resets on my 755p. I use Stopwatch DA and TikTok and Watchmaker. I've been trying various coundown timers, too. TimerX, Tea Pot Timer, Noodle timer...etc.
