There might be a very simple resolution to this but I can't find it.

Why can't I permanently delete memos? What am I doing wrong? Does it have something to do with the Palm Backup software I have that runs every night because the memos pop back up each day, even if I don't sync.

    Yes,

Palm backup puts the memos back! That is why I stopped using it! Who knows what else it's messing up. I spent several nights on the phone and was VERY unhappy with the support staff who basically had the attitude that it's beta software and free so they are not responsible for ANYTHING the software does wrong and don't even seem to want feedback to improve the product, never mind provide customer support for the product.

nice to know i wasn't losing my mind...

on the up side, i deleted a memo by accident, and was pleased that it popped back in - right up until i had to start deleting the old ones i didn't want.

i need to find another backup that doesn't require that i plug into my machine at home - anyone got any ideas?
