    i was wondering lately as i get more into my centro useing apps more often adding new ones i tend to get that white screen and i was wondering if maybe when i use a lot of programs all in a short amount of time it usally does this and sometime it never comes back i have to take battery out is there another way to reset and is it good thing to do from time to time and when needed im new to palm and smartphones first one

    What apps do you have? Maybe something specifically is causing the lag. For example, in my case it was UltimatePhone. As soon as I uninstalled that my phone went back to being snappy and responsive. You probably also have some memory hogging app causing trouble.

    yea see i have ultimate phone i really like it tho is there a safe altern. i also just got opera 4 and after that it slowed down

    Soft resets don't improve functionality much from my experience, but a hard reset every so often does clear out a significant amount of cobwebs. My Treo is always noticeably more peppy after a hard reset.

    BTW, what's up with your user name? It has piqued my interest.

    is there a way to reset with out taking battery out??

    my username has been with me since i was a kid haha i used to play drums loved travis barker (blink 182 drummer) at the time he was an idol and now a days i just use the same one

    Do a google search for a free utility called "resetme" I use it daily. You can choose a soft or warm reset.
