    Hello all

I have a few questions concerning the Palm Centro.

    1. Can you upload mp3 ring tones to the Palm Centro from sites such as www.funformobile.com?

    2. I have heard of the battery life not lasting long. Is this true?

    3. What OS version is the Palm Centro?

    Thanks!!

    1. You can use miniTone to convert mp3 to ringtune.

    2. It's mediocre. Not too bad according the Centro users.

    3. Well its probably 0.01 higher than the 755p. Doesn't really matter they are all frankenGarnet.

I had no luck with fun-for-mobile. I emailed to myself, and "copied to ringtone" and as long as its the right format (M4P??) it works.

Its pretty good. At least as good as my non-PDA phone that this replaced. I usually use about 10% per day of my battery on a few quick web jaunts, and probably 20something texts per day. Sometimes more. And sometimes a few calls.

The 5th day I had the black version of this phone, my dad spent 2 hours straight on a conference call while we drove across a neighboring state for a football game, and I did the same a couple days later on the swapped out Red one on the way to another game. I think 2 straight hours, some roaming and signal searching and several texts eating only 50% of a battery is pretty damn remarkable.
