    I was going to test this but does anyone know? My reasoning is that because the bluetooth headset handles voice output, the centro does not. But on the other hand, you have to have bluetooth turned on.

    Nope, the Bluetooth transceiver in the Centro will use way, way more power than the tiny amount of audio going to the speaker.
