    I asked this on the 680 forum and the general opinion seemed to be it was a downgrade. What do Centro users think?

    Product owner seeks validation for choice of product, film at 11.

    Good things the Centro has over the 680:

    * Faster data network
    * Smaller case
    * More recent software (Docs to Go 10, pTunes deluxe, etc)

    Good things the 680 has over the Centro:

    * Takes full-size SD cards
    * Bigger battery
    * Bigger (better?) keyboard
    * Uses GSM/can roam internationally

    To me, the size and speed of the Centro make it a definite upgrade over the 680 (I think the Centro is what the 680 should have been from the start...)

    Someone who's hung up on the keyboard might be happier with the 680. GSM users will probably see a GSM centro sometime after the 90 day exclusive is up with Sprint (but will there be 3G support...?)

    I did this exact upgrade, moving from T-Mobile to Sprint in the process and I'm satisfied with my decision. The 680 is a beast compared to the Centro. Remember its not just the smaller case, but the whole shape of it is flat on front and rounded out in the back, making it fit easier everywhere.

    there are obvious ups and downs like #2 described.

    just one thing, palm centro is coded as palm 690p,
