I am having problem using Versamail to download Gmail. I have enabled the POP on my Gmail account, and it still won't do.

you can set up to forward your gmail accounts to a mail2web account and use that with Versa via EAS. Then you will have true 'push' on your gmail accouts.

It also syncs your calender and contacts, which is GREAT!

a billion kudos to syphex for the idea!

    I found the fix.
Once I changed the setting in Gmail -> settings -> Forwarding and POP
"Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on"
    Versamail started receiving email.

Do you mind giving us some additional details on how to set this up?

    Thanks

    I will do my best...

I went to mail2web.com and signed up for a free live! account.

I fowarded my gmail accounts to the new mail2web account.

I set up the mail2web account as an EAS on Versa, it syncs all your mail, calender and contacts and also give you 'push' ability for the accounts you have forwarded to the mail2web account.

another member, Syphex gave me this idea, so again, kudos to him

Thanks for the help. I've done all that, but for some reason, it isn't pushing. I can hit sync, and it will bring in the mail, but it doesn't do it automatically and instantly. Any idea what setting(s) I need to change to get it working?
