Yes.. depending on what your sending (meaning how large of an email) it was my experience with snapper that it was pretty slow on sending and really fast on retrieving which makes sense since you have twice the speed in retrieving then you do sending.

That hasn't been my experience. But I'm using a 680 (and before that, the 650), not a 755.

I have not notice snapper being slow in either sending or receiving.
    I'm using a Sprint Treo 700p.

well I think I used snapper mainly when I had the 650 and a little when I had a 700p and I remember it being nice on the 650 but I don't think I had the expectation that I did with it when I got the 700p since the 650 didn't have evdo... but I remember it being slow thats the whole reason I got into EAS was to find a faster alternative.

But if you think it should be sending faster the only suggestion I have is to make a full backup using nvbackup or backup manager and then doing a hardreset ( I know this is the long way but I find its the only way to make sure no other 3rd party software is conflicting with it ) and reinstall only snapper and testing it. If its the same then its probably as fast as it can get ... if you notice that its faster by doing this then you probably have conflicting software slowing it down. but by making the backup you now can just do a restore and have everything back the way it was before doing any testing.

    Just curious,

Are you aware of any apps that conflict with Snapper? I sometimes get a reset and the error msg indicates it was snapper but I'm getting the exact same error msg and date since 9/6. (Each error msg indicates snapper caused the error msgo on 9/6.)

So I don't think it's snapper (if fact the reset also occurrs using other apps, espcially when I use my menu key. So I think my error msg is corrupt)

At the moment I just don't want to go thru the hard resent and clean install.

It's not normal for sending via SnapperMail to be especially slow when sending your average email message. I'm curious: what SMTP server are you using?
