Has anyone tried this headset? I currently own the WEP-200 w/ 700p and for the most part, I am pretty satisfied. Does anyone own the WEP-500 and use it with 700p? How's the noise-canceling feature? With my WEP-200, I have to keep my car windows closed when I drive. If I can get the same reliabilty from the WEP-500, then all is right with the world. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

I bought and tried this today, and it's going back tomorrow. It wasn't as comfortable or stable as my JX-10 with a Jabra EarGel, it beeps when you go in or out of range, the range is horrible and crackles when the 700p is on the other side of my body, and worst of all, it is impossible to not accidently press the multifunction button when putting it in to your ear, or when putting in your pocket, or taking it out. The noise canceling is pretty good, but the negatives far outway the positives. The JX-10 continues to be the gold standard for me. I have a BlueAnt Z9 coming, so I will compare that one as well.

You should try the nx6000 and 815/855 too.

I know you've tried every headset you can get your hands on......what's your opinion of the nx6000, Z9, and 815/855?

I haven't tried any of them. I got burned out trying BT headsets and always being disappointed. I'm waiting for the 855 to be released before buying it, the nx6000, wep500 and Z9 and doing a 4-way comparison. I've never liked headsets with DSP and hope that some major advancements have been made in the past year.

Doesn't the Jabra eargel fit on the wep500 as well?

The ones I bought for the JX-10 don't fit the WEP-500, which has a smaller earpiece.

does anyone with 700p have samsung wep500 bt headset? it's been onsale for about $10-15 after rebate. only negatives i've heard are short battery life and fitment/comfort issue inside the ear canal. currently i have moto h300- working fine, but looking for something smaller.
