First of, my apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere, however, I was not able to find any discussion on this:

Let me first explain what I mean by your email "soft name" by an example. Let's say your name is:

    Jane Smith

And you have a POP3 email account with this address:

    js2928@optonline.net

In this case, using say Outlook on your computer, you could assign a "soft name" of "Jane Smith" to your address so that a receipient's inbox displays you as "Jane Smith" instead of as "js2928@optonline.net".

I have not been able to find out how assign a "soft name" using Versamail. Any thoughts if this is possible and if so, how? Also, let me just mention that as is the case with most ISP's not allowing access to their outgoing email servers while off their network, my Versamail is set up to use Sprint's server for outgoing mail.

    Thanks in advance.
