I hate to start a new topic on this, because it has probably been answered in another one. But, does anyone know how to use the built-in calender application one-handed. Specifically, I want to change the view from day, to week, to month. The cursor won't land on those small icons in the lower left corner and I have to pull my stylus or use my fingertip. There must be a way.

I don't think there is. You might want to look at a 3rd party app, like DateBk6.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

Well, I'm already using KeyDates, which does the same thing. It's kind of amazing that they haven't updated that app to make better use of the 5-way. Also, you can't go to a week or month view and use the cursor to select a day. I'm still a supporter of Palm, but things like this are the reason why people call palm os out-of-date.

This has always anoyed me too. There must be a way to do this.

The 700P cycles through each view, as you press the calendar hard button. I start on the agenda page, and then by pressing the calendar hard button, move to day, week, and month, then back to agenda.

I thought they all worked this way, as it has on each of my three treo's (600, 650, 700P).

I am not sure if this is a setting anywhere, but if it is, I can't find it.

Hope this helps, at least some.

Sounds like this is an issue with KeyDates. Have you contacted the developer?

Yeah, it helps. That's the answer. Thanks.

Now, can you figure out how to select and edit a particular day when in the week or month view, without touching the screen. (Ha-Ha)

Yes, as a matter of fact. When in the week view, push the center button, then use the 5-way to move from day to day. With a day highlighted, press the center button. Works most of the time (it is actually selecting an appointment, but it seems to work).

In month view, press the center button, and use the 5-way to move around the month, then press the center button to go to that day.

    This should work.

Yeah, it does that in the regular calender program, but won't do that in KeyDates. The only reason I use KeyDates is to sync multiple Outlook folders and it works better than PocketMirror Pro for the calender. I just sync with PM Pro for all other PIM's from Outlook. Anyhow, thanks for the good info.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the built in calendar program.

No problem. The first tip you gave worked for both. The other tip didn't work for KeyDates. But I appreciate your help.
