    Hi there.

Inspired by the post from ishtob, (great post, great idea. Respect!) I have decided to ‘delete’ my Treo 650 antenna.

Actually, I was determined to do so even before I got my hands on my Treo.

I’ve already purchased a spare body case (used, very banged-up…), and my little project has started. I’ll take a ton of pictures, and even shoot some short videos, so I can make a step-by-step tutorial afterwards.

My only concern is about to the antenna modification, but I’ll count on you guys to help me, ‘cause I don’t have any technical knowledge at all in this regard.

Let’s see what I can make of it. Updates soon.

    A little sneak peek:

That looks like a good start.

How did you get the volume switch and IR port off? That is one thing I have had trouble with.

Hi Ribletts. Thank you for your reply.

Actually, I've used the same process as to remove the front face plate. Look at these pictures, and then this . It was a scary thing to do, but once I have done it, I realize that was nothing to be scared of. You just have to do it very slowly and very carefully.

As for the ~Q~ remarks, with all due respect, there is no debate:

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
